What happened to summer? I was just starting to enjoy all the      summer activities and then I wake up to find that August 1st is here and fall is not that far behind. I hope all you students have enjoyed the summer and are getting ready to hit the books again! With the coming of fall headed our way our thoughts are turning to something else too ...Resurrection in Gatlinburg! Before we can get there we are     going to take part in several fundraisers during August and September and we need everyone's help. Please mark these dates on your calendar and let Mom and Dad know they are welcome to join and help!

August 18th - Italian Feast after Church!

August 24th and 25th - Ushers for the Bristol Motor Speedway! (Great opportunity for all you "Nascar Loving" Dads and Granddads)

September - Opportunity to win collectible Mohair Bear!

Also, word as it Penny has some calendars coming in... so remember the calendars help the UMYF and make GREAT gifts!
